Movie night – Smugglers on-screen will be held on Tuesday, 4/11/2014 at 6 p.m. at the Civil Museum Idrija. This event will, at the same time mark the ending of Idrija’s part in the international project Smuggling Anthologies.

Two documentary movies will be shown – ČUVAJ FILM! i MOJA MEJA

Movie ”Čuvaj film” was filmmed during Second World War, between 1943 and 1945. The author  is Antonio Peraica who, though he was a partisan film maker, hid the controversial recordings after the war. At his death bed, he gave the recordings to his granddaughter, dr. Ana Peraica, who will present the movie.

Movie ”Moja meja”, made by Anja Medved i Nadja Velušček, speaks about life in Gorica at the end of Second World War. The newly build border didn’t just divide the fields, streets and gardens, it also separated feelings, thoughts and expectations of the local people.
